I live in the beautiful Southwest city of Santa Fe, New Mexico. I was born here and have lived here most of my life. I briefly went to college for a year in Denver at the University of Denver. I finished my studies at the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor’s degree in English-Philosophy. My last year of college, I was fortunate to study abroad in Spain for 8 months. I lived in the beautiful southern city of Granada and travelled all over Spain and other locations while I was in Europe.
Santa Fe is a part of who I am and my roots here run deep. I can’t explain to you who I am without explaining where I come from, as it’s such a part of my identity. Growing up in this high mountain desert small city, which feels like a small town, I was blessed to have grown up in such a beautiful locale. Every winter, since I was a kid, I migrated to the nearby mountains, to Ski, then eventually Snowboard. Snowboarding was a big part of my life for 15 years, until recently. The mountains were my escape for so long, my church. Besides the most fun thing to do ever, I love to read, write, sing, dance, and learn. Life is a school and filled with constant lessons and opportunities for growth. The pandemic gave me the opportunity to sit back and re-evaluate the past, and it was not always pretty. I’ve been using the past as an opportunity for growth and want to learn the lessons I needed to have learned long ago. The biggest lesson lately has been of letting go. You’ll get to know me more through my blog and get to experience witnessing my healing journey, both physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional. I love to cook and bake, so I’ll also add some of my favorite recipes, as well as original recipes of my own. I’ll also talk about themes, like spirituality and psychology.
